Oxy-Morals

Soul Air Reality

Society will always be a fleeting contradiction—an evolving conflict of interest—because it naturally goes against inherent comfort. It fuels a collective effort that, ironically, ends up discouraging it. The need for more never stops.

I remember a funny TikTok video during the COVID era where a guy pondered, “If money is the root of all evil, then why do churches ask for it?” I used to crack up at that—it seemed so contradictive. But now, it hits deeper. Because charity can feel more like a destination than a practice—something to check off. The notion to give often comes with the expectation of getting something in return. But in reality, the practice of giving is Allah’s way of helping us exercise our intentions through our circumstances.

Allah tells us He rewards our good deeds, so we automatically equate reward with monetary abundance. But does that even happen in the workplace? Do people get promoted just for doing their job? Or does the boss notice the one who accelerates sincerely? The one who exceeds expectations? So our intention acts as both the giver and the receiver.

That’s why Allah differentiates us. Our individuality isn’t accidental—it’s purposeful. He emphasizes our differences are meant to be shared. How else do we build resilience? How else do we stretch our tolerance and ability to learn?

Experience isn’t just participation or done deal. The integrity of our experience depends on how responsible we are in reflecting the truth of our intentions within it. That we are seeking to perceive it for the truth that it is rather than the "truth" we want to believe.

Shaytan planted a seed of greed from the start—when he influenced Adam and Hawwa with the tree of eternity. He told them eating from it would give them a kingdom that would never waste away. That suggestion alone triggered the brain to bypass Allah’s guidance. And in doing so, the fear of lack was born in human DNA.

Now, in a time where society is actively debating the extent of feminism, the idea that Allah would guide a woman—and that she’d actually be receptive to it—is enough to disturb the system. It exposes a contradictive effort that dissolves their integrity. They think I’m trying to forge a feminist act by claiming instead of proclaiming—but the truth is, women don’t even like me to begin with. So their narrative in this story stems from their invalid need to judge, simply because of the valid authority asking them to reflect their opinion//experience of me.

I actively support the collective effort of sincere perception—seeing people for the truth of their intentions, not for the categories society wants to box them into. I don’t believe women should have to perform for rights that are already inherently theirs. It shouldn’t have to be a feminist act to be treated with dignity—because life only comes in two genders, and both are held accountable before Allah. The act, instead, should be one of integrity—a sincere acknowledgment of who a person is, their authenticity and genuine contribution to society. That's what really matters.

For someone like me who is conveying Allah’s message—I was shaped by the circumstances Allah allowed me to go through that built and shaped my life and my children. That resilience was once accepted by society. But now, when used to convey a renewal of faith, it has become a bulletin of suspicion, contradicting their legitimacy in knowing me, by being questioned about their initial understanding of my affable resilience. (whew)

Within the subject of faith, society’s morals, values, and ethics are also deeply intertwined. How society nurtures time, and the energy it gives, is often understated. The way people direct their contributions—and whether those efforts stay within bounds or exceed them—depends entirely on their own measure.

Shaytan makes it easy for society to keep up with celebrity news, royal family scandals, and meaningless updates that infuse expectation and demand. And its emitted into their expectation of everyday life. But these distractions never give us space for a mature understanding of our own lives, nor do they invite us to reflect on the richness of Allah as our rightful, One Source.

Because faith is built on believing in Allah without seeing. And being receptive to His guidance requires time to grow comfortable in it, and time to unlearn the discomforts shaped by everything else. Congregation is meant to be a gathering of nurturing reminders, not a performance to be remembered. So if society keeps expecting that faith must be seen to be valid, those expectations will only hinder the intellect from the remembrance of that vision.

Ultimately, if people considered the understanding of Allah’s Majesty and His Greatness, they would find His guidance more comfortable and easier to accept—and they would care less for the superficial grandness seen in the lives of other people.

Surah Yunus (10:47)
"And for every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a Messenger. When their Messenger comes, the matter is judged between them with justice, and they are not wronged."

Surah Ta-Ha (20:120–135)
20:120
Then Shaitan (Satan) whispered to him, saying: "O Adam! Shall I lead you to the Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that will never waste away?"
20:121
Then they both ate of the tree, and so their private parts became manifest to them, and they began to stick together the leaves of Paradise over themselves (to cover their shame). Thus did Adam disobey his Lord, so he went astray.
20:122
Then his Lord chose him, and turned to him with forgiveness, and gave him guidance.
20:123
(Allah) said: "Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then, if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My guidance, he will not go astray, nor fall into distress and misery.
20:124
"But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur'an nor acts on its orders), verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection."
20:125
He will say: "O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)."
20:126
(Allah) will say: "Like this: Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (i.e. left in Hell)."
20:127
And thus do We recompense him who transgresses beyond bounds (i.e. commits the great sins and disobeys Allah) and believes not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, and the torment of the Hereafter is far more severe and more lasting.
20:128
Is it not a guidance for them (to know) how many generations We have destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they (now) walk about? Verily, in this are signs indeed for men of understanding.
20:129
And had it not been for a Word that went forth before from your Lord, and a term determined, (their punishment) must necessarily have come (in this world).
20:130
So bear patiently (O Muhammad ﷺ) what they say, and glorify the praises of your Lord, before the rising of the sun and before its setting. And during some hours of the night (also) glorify His praises, and at the ends of the day (i.e. Fajr, Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers), that you may become pleased with the reward which Allah shall give you.
20:131
And strain not your eyes in longing for the things We have given for enjoyment to various groups of them (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah), the splendor of the life of this world, that We may test them thereby. But the provision (good reward in the Hereafter) of your Lord is better and more lasting.
20:132
And enjoin As-Salat (the prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them (i.e. the Salat). We ask not of you a provision (i.e. to give Us something: money, etc.): We provide for you. And the good end (i.e. Paradise) is for the Muttaqun (pious).
20:133
They say: "Why does he not bring us a sign (proof) from his Lord?" Has there not come to them the proof of that which is in the former Scriptures?
20:134
And if We had destroyed them with a torment before this (i.e. Messenger Muhammad ﷺ and the Qur’an), they would surely have said: "Our Lord! If only You had sent us a Messenger, we should certainly have followed Your Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), before we were humiliated and disgraced."
20:135
Say (O Muhammad ﷺ): "Each one (believer and disbeliever) is waiting; so wait you too, and you shall know who are they that are on the Straight and Even Path (i.e. Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism), and who are they that have let themselves be guided (on the Right Path)."

Surah An-Nahl (16:111–113)
16:111
(Remember) the Day when every person will come up pleading for himself, and every one will be paid in full what he has done, and they will not be dealt with unjustly.
16:112
And Allah puts forward the example of a township (Makkah), that dwelt secure and well-content, its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it denied the favours of Allah (with ungratefulness). So Allah made it taste the extreme of hunger (famine) and fear, because of that (evil, i.e. denying Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) which they (its people) used to do.
16:113
And verily, there had come unto them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied him, so the torment overtook them while they were Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).

Surah Ghafir (40:46–66)

40:46
The Fire; they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon. And on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): "Cause Fir‘aun’s (Pharaoh's) people to enter the severest torment!"

40:47
And (remember) when they will dispute in the Fire, the weak will say to those who were arrogant: "Verily, we followed you, can you then take from us some portion of the Fire?"

40:48
Those who were arrogant will say: "We are all (together) in this (Fire)! Verily, Allah has judged between (His) slaves!"

40:49
And those in the Fire will say to the keepers (angels) of Hell: "Call upon your Lord to lighten for us the torment for a day!"

40:50
They will say: "Did there not come to you your Messengers with clear evidences (and signs)?" They will say: "Yes." They will reply: "Then call (as you like)! And the invocation of the disbelievers is nothing but in vain (and will go unanswered)!"

40:51
Verily, We will indeed make victorious Our Messengers and those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism) in this world's life and on the Day when the witnesses will stand forth (i.e. Day of Resurrection),

40:52
The Day when their excuses will be of no profit to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers and criminals), theirs will be the curse, and theirs will be the evil abode (i.e. painful torment in Hell-fire).

40:53
And indeed We gave Musa (Moses) the guidance, and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit the Scripture,

40:54
A guide and a reminder for men of understanding.

40:55
So be patient (O Muhammad ﷺ). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the Praises of your Lord in the ‘Ashî (i.e. the afternoon) and in the Ibkâr (i.e. the morning).

40:56
Verily! Those who dispute about the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, without any authority that has come to them, there is nothing else in their breasts except pride (to accept you as a Messenger of Allah) which they shall never attain. So seek refuge in Allah. Verily, it is He Who is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.

40:57
The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind, yet most of mankind know not.

40:58
And not equal are the blind and those who see, nor those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember!

40:59
Verily, the Hour (Day of Judgement) is surely coming, there is no doubt about it, yet most men believe not.

40:60
And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!"

40:61
Allah it is He Who has made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day for seeing. Verily, Allah is full of Bounty to mankind, yet most of mankind give no thanks.

40:62
That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things, Lâ ilâha illâ Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He). How then are you turning away (from Him)?

40:63
Thus were turned away those who used to deny the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah.

40:64
Allah, it is He Who has made for you the earth as a dwelling place and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes good (looking) and has provided you with good things. That is Allah, your Lord, then blessed be Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

40:65
He is the Ever Living, Lâ ilâha illâ Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), so invoke Him making your worship pure for Him Alone. All the praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

40:66
Say (O Muhammad ﷺ): "I have been forbidden to worship those whom you worship besides Allah, since there have come to me clear proofs from my Lord, and I am commanded to submit (in Islam) to the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."

Surah Al-‘Ankabūt (29:43–69)
29:43
And these similitudes We put forward for mankind; but none will understand them except those who have knowledge (of Allah and His signs, etc.).

29:44
(Allah says to His Prophet Muhammad ﷺ): "Allah (Alone) created the heavens and the earth with truth (and none shared Him in their creation). Verily! Therein is surely a sign for those who believe."

29:45
Recite (O Muhammad ﷺ) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur’an), and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat). Verily, As-Salat (prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha’ (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed, etc.) and the remembering (praising, etc.) of (you by) Allah (in front of the angels) is greater indeed [than your remembering (praising, etc.) Allah in prayers]. And Allah knows what you do.

29:46
And argue not with the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), unless it be in (a way) that is better (with good words and in good manner, inviting them to Islamic Monotheism with His Verses), except with such of them as do wrong; and say (to them): "We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you; our Ilah (God) and your Ilah (God) is One (i.e. Allah), and to Him we have submitted (as Muslims)."

29:47
And thus We have sent down the Book (i.e. this Qur’an) to you (O Muhammad ﷺ), and so those whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injil (Gospel)] believe therein as also do some of these (who are present with you now like ‘Abdullah bin Salam) and none but the disbelievers reject Our Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, lessons, etc.).

29:48
Neither did you (O Muhammad ﷺ) read any book before it (this Qur’an), nor did you write any book (whatsoever) with your right hand. In that case, indeed, the followers of falsehood might have doubted.

29:49
Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e. the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injil (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none but the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.).

29:50
And they say: "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner."

29:51
Is it not sufficient for them that We have sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) which is recited to them? Verily, herein is mercy and a reminder (or an admonition) for a people who believe.

29:52
Say (to them O Muhammad ﷺ): "Sufficient is Allah for a witness between me and you. He knows what is in the heavens and on earth." And those who believe in falsehood, and disbelieve in Allah, it is they who are the losers.

29:53
And they ask you to hasten on the torment (for them); and had it not been for a term appointed, the torment would certainly have come to them. And surely, it will come upon them suddenly while they perceive not!

29:54
They ask you to hasten on the torment. And verily, Hell, of a surety, will encompass the disbelievers.

29:55
On the Day when the torment (Hell-fire) shall cover them from above them and from underneath their feet, and it will be said: "Taste what you used to do."

29:56
O My slaves who believe! Certainly, spacious is My earth. Therefore worship Me (Alone).

29:57
Everyone shall taste death. Then unto Us you shall be returned.

29:58
And those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism] and do righteous good deeds, to them We shall surely give lofty dwellings in Paradise, underneath which rivers flow, to live therein forever. Excellent is the reward for those who work (righteousness),

29:59
Those who are patient, and put their trust (only) in their Lord (Allah).

29:60
And so many a moving (living) creature there is, that carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

29:61
And if you were to ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" They will surely reply: "Allah." How then are they deviating (as polytheists and disbelievers)?

29:62
Allah enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything.

29:63
If you were to ask them: "Who sends down water (rain) from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death?" They will surely reply: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" Nay! Most of them have no sense.

29:64
And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter — that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew.

29:65
And when they embark on a ship, they invoke Allah, making their Faith pure for Him only; but when He brings them safely to land, behold, they give a share of their worship to others.

29:66
So that they deny (with ungratefulness) that which We have given them, and enjoy themselves! But they will come to know.

29:67
Have they not seen that We have made (Makkah) a secure sanctuary, while men are being snatched away from all around them? Then do they believe in falsehood, and deny (become ingrate for) the Graces of Allah?

29:68
And who does more wrong than he who invents a lie against Allah, or denies the truth (Muhammad ﷺ and his doctrine of Islamic Monotheism and this Qur’an), when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell an abode for the disbelievers?

29:69
As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah’s Religion – Islamic Monotheism). And verily, Allah is with the Muhsinun (good doers).

Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:69–73)
23:69
Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ), so they deny him?

23:70
Or they say: "There is a madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. (the Qur’an)], but most of them are averse to the truth.

23:71
And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but they turn away from their Reminder.

23:72
Or is it that you (O Muhammad ﷺ) ask them for some Kharj (tribute, money, etc.)? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance.

23:73
And certainly, you (O Muhammad ﷺ) call them to the Straight Path (i.e. Islamic Monotheism).
