In the opening of Surah Taha, Allah acknowledges that upholding the principle of the deen and climbing the ladder of faith comes with distress and challenge. By mentioning distress, He highlights the deeply social aspect of faith — the strain that arises from external influences, feeling misjudged, or even bullied when standing firm in belief.Allah reminds us that He is the One on the Throne — a Throne that signifies authority, process, and completeness. This alone teaches us that His knowledge and vision encompass not only what we reveal openly but also the sincerity within our hearts:“He knows what is (apparently) before them and what is hidden from them.” (20:7) This isn’t shared as if He is “catching” us in our faults, but rather that our sincere intentions and unspoken truths are fully known and noted by Him. Belief in His Oneness and Greatness isn’t merely conceptual; it invites us to reflect deeply on the meanings and context of His 99 Names, each name manifesting an aspect of His mercy, justice, knowledge, and power.The chapter then draws us into the story of Prophet Musa (Moses) (peace be upon him), illustrating the real social challenge he faced with Pharaoh — the epitome of narcissistic oppression. Allah’s timing is perfect: He guided Moses to the fire right at the moment Pharaoh’s tyranny peaked, showing us that divine guidance isn’t bound by human measures of time.Moses’ fears were human — fearing his speech wouldn’t convince Pharaoh, and fearing the immense responsibility of conveying Allah’s message. Through dua, he asked:“O my Lord! Open for me my chest, ease my task for me, and loosen the knot from my tongue so they may understand my speech.” (20:25–28) Allah granted this request and reinforced him by pairing him with his brother Harun (Aaron) to uphold the truth, integrity, and peace together — showing that sincere prayer, paired with effort, brings divine support.The miracle of the staff turning into a serpent serves as a profound metaphor: a staff is usually a symbol of help and stability, yet Allah made it a snake, depicting how those who appear harmless — like Pharaoh — can in truth be agents of harm and deceit. This exposes the duality in narcissistic oppression: outward power hides inner corruption. Even as we face the scars of past or present narcissism, Allah teaches that ultimate reliance on Him brings justice, even for the narcissist, who is also a victim of his own delusion:“And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth in order that each person may be recompensed what he has earned; and they will not be wronged.” (45:22, Muhsin Khan) Pharaoh’s ignorance fed his arrogance, leading to a catastrophic disbelief so severe it harmed his people. He misused his intelligence, ignoring truth until denial consumed him, highlighting the danger of ignoring divine warnings.Yet Allah’s plan was already in motion long before Pharaoh’s downfall: when Moses was an infant, his mother was moved by divine inspiration to place him in the river. Though unimaginable to most, Allah “tied” her heart with patience and faith, giving her the strength to endure separation. Her sincerity and faith were central to why Allah chose Moses:“So We restored you to your mother that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve.” (20:40) In this, Allah demonstrates that His wisdom often unfolds in ways beyond our understanding — what looks like abandonment may in fact be protection, and what seems like loss can become the very path of deliverance.As a reminder of how divine justice continues across generations, Allah says:“And (also) We destroyed the towns (population) around them. And We have shown (them) the (means of) turning (to Allah in repentance), but they did not turn (to Him).” (25:39, Muhsin Khan) The Quran, as He reminds us, is easy and clear — even a hardened heart like Pharaoh’s was first given time, signs, and proof before the final consequence. His story is both real history and an enduring metaphor: we all face Pharaoh-like forces in society, yet reliance on Allah, supported by sincerity, patience, and prayer, is the path that brings peace and justice in ways only He knows. Bism Illah Al Rahman Al Raheem&nbsp; 21:30 Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?21:31 And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein broad highways for them to pass through, that they may be guided.21:32 And We have made the heaven a roof, safe and well guarded. Yet they turn away from its signs.21:33 And He it is Who has created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each in an orbit floating.21:34 And We granted not to any human being immortality before you (O Muhammad ﷺ): then if you die, would they live forever?21:35 Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good, and to Us you will be returned.21:36 And when those who disbelieve (strong and powerful) see you (O Muhammad ﷺ), they only mock at you (saying): “Is this the one who talks (badly) about your gods?” While they disbelieve at the mention of the Most Beneficent (Allah).21:37 Man is created of haste. I will show you My Ayat (signs) soon, so ask Me not to hasten (them).21:38 And they say: "When will this promise (come to pass), if you are truthful?"21:39 If only those who disbelieve knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces, nor from their backs, and they will not be helped!21:40 Nay, it (the punishment) will come upon them all of a sudden and will perplex them, and they will have no power to avert it, nor will they get respite.21:41 Indeed, (many) Messengers were mocked before you (O Muhammad ﷺ), but the scoffers were surrounded by that whereat they used to mock.21:42 Say: "Who can guard and protect you in the night or in the day from (the punishment of) the Most Beneficent (Allah)?" Nay, but they turn away from the remembrance of their Lord.21:43 Or have they aliha (gods) who can guard them from Us? They have no power to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us.21:44 Nay, but We gave enjoyment to these and their fathers till the period grew long for them; see they not that We reduce the land from its outlying borders? Is it they then who will overcome?21:45 Say (O Muhammad ﷺ): "I warn you only by the revelation (from Allah and not by my own), but the deaf will not hear the call (admonition) when they are warned."21:46 And verily, if a breath of the Torment of your Lord touches them, they will surely cry: "Woe to us! Indeed we have been Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers)."21:47 And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We to take account.21:48 And indeed We granted to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron) the criterion (the Torah) and a light and a reminder for Al-Muttaqun (the pious).21:49 Those who fear their Lord without seeing Him, and they are afraid of the Hour.21:50 And this is a blessed Reminder (the Qur'an) which We have sent down: will you then (dare to) deny it? Surah Ṭā Hā 20:12–14Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Ṭuwā. And I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed [to you]. Indeed, I am Allah. There is no deity except Me, so worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance. &nbsp; 20:22And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease — another sign. &nbsp; 20:24–48Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." [Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast. And ease for me my task. And untie the knot from my tongue. That they may understand my speech. And appoint for me a minister from my family. Aaron, my brother. Increase through him my strength. And let him share my task. That we may exalt You much. And remember You much. Indeed, You are ever seeing of us." [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. And We had already conferred favor upon you another time. When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, [Saying], 'Put him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. And I produced you for Myself. Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.'" &nbsp; 20:52–53[Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed spread out and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. &nbsp; 20:61Moses said to them, "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]." &nbsp; 20:62–64So they disputed over their affair among themselves and concealed their private conversation. They said, "Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way. So resolve upon your plan and then come [forward] in line. And he has succeeded today who overcomes." &nbsp; 20:68–76Allah said, "Fear not. Indeed, it is you who are superior. And throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have crafted. What they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is." So the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, "We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses." [Pharaoh] said, "You believed in him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. But you will surely know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in [giving] punishment and more enduring." They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and over He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life. Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us to do of magic. And Allah is better and more enduring." Indeed, whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal — indeed, for him is Hell; he will neither die therein nor live. But whoever comes to Him as a believer having done righteous deeds — for those will be the highest degrees [in position]: Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself. &nbsp; 20:80O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made an appointment with you at the right side of the mount, and We sent down to you manna and quails.

Virtues Are A Strength

Life, as we know it, is the unfolding result of history—shaped by every choice, intention, and unseen cause before us. The Qur’an teaches that the world is not random; it is delicately programmed according to Allah’s laws of natural balance and justice. There exists an automatic formula woven into creation itself—one that no technology, mindset, or modern attitude can override.This formula quietly accumulates the charges impressed upon our souls through what we do, say, and intend, measuring them against the sole expectation Allah has placed upon each of us: to use the unique intelligence He gifted us. In this divine system, history is not merely a sequence of events, but an active ledger of moral cause and effect—a living testimony that our actions matter, both seen and unseen. Through these verses, the Qur’an invites us to awaken to this truth: that our reality is bound to a higher justice, and each soul carries the responsibility to uphold it. Surah 42 Ash-Shura&nbsp; Verses 6-20 In verse 6:“And as for those who take as Auliya’ (protectors, helpers, lords, gods) others besides Him (Allah) — Allah is Hafeez (Protector, Guardian) over them, and you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are not a Wakil (disposer of their affairs or a guardian) over them.” Allah is addressing Muslims, reminding them about those who turn to others for hidden help or influence in ways that go against His guidance. Sometimes “auliya’” can include sneaky behaviors, like using hidden cameras or recording devices for selfish reasons. Allah reminds us that He alone decides the best protectors for us. If we seek shortcuts or enter situations through the “back door,” ignoring that Allah is ever-watchful, it defeats the purpose of His Oneness. Only Allah can rightfully appoint the authority that truly helps us.In verse 7:“And thus We have inspired unto you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) a Qur’an in Arabic, that you may warn the Mother of the Towns (Makkah) and all around it, and warn (them) of the Day of Assembling, whereof there is no doubt: when a party will be in Paradise and a party in the blazing Fire.” Allah reminds us that Muslims must stand openly for peace, whether alone or in crowds. Even if the message is tampered with, the Qur’an remains a trust each Muslim carries, keeping its guidance clear. A Muslim who lives by the Qur’an’s laws with sincerity naturally becomes a “warner,” spreading goodness and attracting blessings. Good intentions bring the presence of angels, who drive away the negative whispers of Shaytān’s jinn.In verse 8:“And if Allah had willed, He could have made them one nation, but He admits whom He wills to His Mercy. And the Zālimūn (wrong-doers) will have neither a Wali (protector) nor a helper.” This speaks of free will and our natural individuality. Allah admitting whom He wills to His Mercy shows that belief isn’t just something claimed by words; it requires sincere effort and intention. Believers who only follow when it suits them are cautioned here. Allah affirms that for those who are sincere, He Himself becomes their protecting friend and helper.In verse 9:“Or have they taken (for worship) Auliya’ besides Him? But Allah – He Alone is the Wali (Protector). And it is He Who gives life to the dead, and He is Able to do all things.” Allah emphasizes His unique position as Al-Wali, the only true protecting friend. His greatness should not be underestimated or diluted with vague thoughts or taking shortcuts that dismiss His presence. Such choices only deceive ourselves, because we inevitably face lessons that correct our mistakes.In verse 10:“And in whatsoever you differ, the decision thereof is with Allah. (And say): Such is Allah, my Lord, in Whom I put my trust, and to Him I turn in repentance.” Allah invites us to turn back to Him when we differ or rush to judgment. Instead of letting differences divide us, we should trust His wisdom, ask for understanding, and remember He alone is the ultimate Judge and Helper.In verse 11:“The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you mates from yourselves, and for the cattle (also) mates: by this means He creates you. There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.” Allah reminds us of our origins: that souls were created in pairs. This emphasizes purity and harmony in creation, and suggests that if humanity reflected the purity of angels, the world itself could become like paradise.In verse 12:“To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. He enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Verily, He is the All-Knower of everything.” At first, this verse may feel conditional, but it is Allah’s direct truth—no sugarcoating. A true believer (Muttaqi) accepts both the ease and difficulty Allah sends, because it comes from our ultimate protecting Friend, who knows best.In verse 13:“He has ordained for you the same religion which He ordained for Nūḥ (Noah), and that which We have inspired in you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and that which We ordained for Ibrāhīm (Abraham), Mūsā (Moses), and ‘Īsā (Jesus): saying you should establish religion and make no divisions in it…” Allah connects our faith to that of past prophets, highlighting the same essential guidance. Even Muslims sometimes resist the higher calling of sincerity, but Allah chooses and guides those who truly turn to Him, with hearts that want His 99 Names and attributes to be active in their lives.In verse 14:“And they divided not until after knowledge had come to them, through selfish transgression…” This refers to those who knew the truth yet turned away when it became inconvenient. They are Muslims who ignore inner guidance, asking for more time and easing into “spiritual vacations.” Collective sincerity should strengthen faith, but personal desires often lead to division.In verse 15:“So unto this (religion) then invite (people) and stand firm as you are commanded… Allah will assemble us (all), and to Him is the final return.” This verse encourages Muslims to share the message sincerely, without comparing deeds or judging others. It is a call to convey truth with justice and humility, treating others as we would wish to be treated.In verse 16:“And those who dispute concerning Allah after it has been accepted – of no use is their dispute before their Lord…” Following Islam can attract criticism, much like past communities divided and argued. Islam’s message protects the future’s vulnerability by upholding peace, despite historical resistance.In verse 17:“It is Allah Who has sent down the Book in truth, and the Balance…” Allah reaffirms that the Qur’an came as truth and justice—a reminder of life’s fleeting nature and the need to act righteously before the Hour arrives.In verse 18:“Those who believe not therein seek to hasten it, while those who believe are fearful of it, and know it is the very truth…” Believers fear and respect the Hereafter, understanding why it matters, while those who ignore signs remain distant from the truth.In verse 19:“Allah is Subtle (kind) with His slaves; He gives provisions to whom He wills…” Allah reassures us that He sees our struggles and intentions. His strength works in ways we might not see or fully grasp, but it always aligns with justice and mercy.In verse 20:“Whosoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We give him increase… and whosoever desires the harvest of this world… has no portion in the Hereafter.” Here, Allah invites us to look beyond short-term gains. “Harvest” refers to the life we cultivate: actions and intentions meant for lasting benefit, not fleeting worldly rewards.

From the moment our eyes open in the morning to the quiet moments before we sleep, our thoughts, reactions, and choices reflect the environment that nourished us. The patterns we inherit, the habits we repeat, and the values we uphold are rarely built in isolation. Instead, they are carefully woven through our earliest experiences—stitched together by the hands of family, community, and culture.In the tender stages of childhood, our understanding of the world is shaped not just by words spoken to us, but by the silent testimony of playtime, friendships, and small decisions—like which toy we cherish most or how we respond to another child’s emotions. These moments, seemingly insignificant, are actually fragments of a deeper trial and testimony: a quiet training of our hearts and minds to perceive, empathize, and choose.&nbsp;Then come the teenage years, marked by friction and discovery. Here, the innocence of childhood gives way to the sharper edges of error and consequence for solutions and lessons. In these years, every mistake becomes a chance for reflection, and every solution becomes a step toward maturity. The tension between wanting independence and needing guidance reveals what values have truly taken root within us—and what lessons still need nurturing.Childhood is a much shorter phase compared to adulthood, which highlights the importance of upbringing. We spend a brief season under the immediate care of parents and guardians, but a far longer stretch living out what they taught us, refining it, or at times, unlearning it. This collaboration between environment and self doesn’t end with adolescence; it evolves as we continue to test, apply, and re-examine what we believe.It’s for this very reason that the early years are so precious: they plant the seeds of love, resilience, and faith that can outlast countless storms. The environment we create for children is not just about shelter, food, or schooling—it’s the unseen architecture of their hearts and minds. It shapes how they will see themselves, how they will treat others, and how they will seek truth and mercy. Allah reminds us in the Quran:"Truly, We did offer Al‑Amanah (the trust or moral responsibility) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it. But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its result)." — Quran 33:72 This Amanah is a profound reminder that our responsibility over our lives is far greater than what we might casually perceive. Constructing our moral compass isn’t just a personal journey of becoming “better people” in isolation; it is a divine trust, a sacred duty that encompasses everything we do, think, and choose.When we look closely, we realize that our knowledge, bodily functions, and even our simple act of breathing are not sustained merely by the flat notions of reading, eating, or moving. They are part of a living tapestry of trust: a trust that we care for ourselves, and in doing so, care for what surrounds us. Allah has given us a unique place in creation—not just to exist, but to contribute.We, as mankind, share a collective contribution to the Earth. The state of the climate, the quality of the air, and the balance of life on this planet ultimately depend on the energy we each emit: the intentions we nurture, the choices we make, and the reflections of unity and peace that we extend outward. It’s not simply about activism or external effort, but about the internal environment we carry within our hearts that becomes the seed of external change.This concept beautifully mirrors the practical wisdom of “reduce, reuse, and recycle”—which itself is an act of mindfulness, restraint, and creativity. In the same way, our spiritual and social lives call for us to “reduce” selfishness and heedlessness, “reuse” lessons learned from past mistakes, and “recycle” goodness by sharing it forward. This process, repeated across billions of souls, builds a moral climate—an environment that either sustains peace or invites corruption and chaos.Just as the labor we invest in protecting nature leads to clearer skies and healthier lands, the moral labor we invest in ourselves and our communities shapes the spiritual climate we all live in. The “pollution” that gathers in society—hatred, injustice, greed—can be traced back to the failure to uphold the Amanah Allah has entrusted to us. And like a child’s trial and error, the statistics of society—crime rates, poverty, broken trust—reflect the cumulative result of our collective efforts, or lack thereof.By understanding this trust, we see that we are not separate from the world’s wellbeing, but central to it. We are not only building ourselves; we are co‑architects of the environment we all must inhabit. And the peace we yearn for—both in the heart and on Earth—is born from the sincerity and steadfastness with which we uphold this divine Amanah. And in this cycle of growth, love remains both the soil and the sun: the force that nurtures the good, softens the hard, and makes it possible for each new generation to reflect something even better than what came before.

Reflections on Surah Al-Ma’idah (verses 41–51) In the context of Moses’ time, Pharaoh’s influence, politics then and now, and Allah’s timeless warningsWhen reading these verses, it’s important to remember that they were revealed at a time in history when Moses (peace be upon him) led his people with the Torah, after they had suffered under Pharaoh — the most deceiving and arrogant man mentioned repeatedly in the Qur’an. Pharaoh’s influence was rooted in extreme arrogance, and over time, arrogance only evolves into more sophisticated deceit — something Allah warns about throughout His Book.In verse 41, Allah speaks of people who distort the truth, accepting it only on a conditional basis, rather than for its reality and value. This corruption emerges especially when someone feels pressured to only accept truth that fits their own conditions, rather than listening to the vulnerability of their innate selves. Allah warns that such conditional acceptance earns impure company and causes a person to miss out on the goodness He entrusted to them — so they don’t mislead themselves or others. Ignoring this inherent truth charges the soul with disbelief and hypocrisy:Surah Ad-Dukhan (44:32–33): And indeed We chose them (the Children of Israel) above the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinn) knowingly, And granted them signs in which there was a plain trial. (Muhsin Khan) In verse 42, Allah continues to describe how the Jews at the time of Moses followed disbelief despite leading with the Torah. Their hearts became hardened, earning them ignorance towards Allah’s guidance. Allah encourages that if we can’t remain neutral in judgment among one another, we should turn away from them. Even if they show traits influenced by Pharaoh against their own people, we still hold the responsibility to be rightful and fair to uphold peace.Verse 43 highlights how Pharaoh only accepted the truth he wanted for himself and trained his people to disbelieve in Moses’ truth, ultimately leaving them victims of narcissistic abuse. This abuse led them to reject the core aspect faith is meant to deliver: believing without seeing.In verse 44, Allah reinforces His cause to unite us and clear away the fog that blurs clarity and vision for peace. He reminds us that while the Torah was the first scripture, the Qur’an is now the final message for mankind. Allah tells the Jews to fear Him, not men, because they had become victims of Pharaoh’s narcissism. The framework for our conduct is already instilled in the badge given to our souls, which our intelligence detects and our hearts drive.In verse 45, Allah addresses the issue of misjudgment that plagued that era and still exists today. In His merciful wisdom, He provided natural laws to uphold justice and balance, making it easier for the people of Moses to find guidance despite Pharaoh’s oppression. Allah encourages that, even in the face of misjudgment, giving charity purifies intentions and reminds us to be fair — or else we risk earning the badge of ignorance:Surah Al-Isra’ (17:59): And nothing stops Us from sending the Ayat (proofs, evidences, signs) except that the people of old denied them. (Muhsin Khan) In verse 46, Allah confirms His responsibility for the message sent by Moses and then entrusted to Jesus (peace be upon them). This light of the Torah and Gospel came to people already harmed by Shaytan’s deceit.Verse 47 uses the term fasiqun for those who entertain disbelief — a term that naturally offends Shaytan because it exposes his reality. This offense is passed on to his victims, who then feel insulted rather than warned. Shaytan’s aim is to keep his arrogance alive, suppress our souls from thriving in Allah’s light, and prevent us from taking Allah’s warnings seriously:Surah Al-Ankabut (29:4): Or those who do evil deeds think that they can outstrip Us (escape Our punishment)? Evil is that which they judge! (Muhsin Khan) In verse 48, Allah honors those who were not victims of oppression but carried the trust of following the Torah or Gospel faithfully — described as muhayminan (trustworthy witnesses). He reminds us that even though we have different perceptions and backgrounds, the core framework of integrity and justice fits every context of our lives and struggles. Allah teaches that if we were all alike, we’d all have the same test — but instead, our individuality and free will have meaning: to return to Him, united by our shared purpose. Differences exist not to divide but to deepen understanding and cooperation.In verse 49, Allah addresses the Muslims, showing how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ perfected the character of a Muslim: someone whose fairness naturally repels negative forces that try to drag them into victimhood. Fair judgment leads to greater knowledge and awareness, and Allah shows that His warnings — whether public or private — are always pure, calling us to purify our intentions, which ultimately guide us.Verse 50 reminds us that those who lead with ignorance often do so because of a refusal to progress in understanding the truth Allah makes clear. Their struggle becomes evident when faced with people who have firm integrity and faith.In verse 51, the word auliya becomes sensitive because of history and how perceptions shape today. Allah witnessed how vulnerable Muslims and potential Muslims could be to influences that distort faith — the same victimhood Pharaoh exploited. The term auliya means to join Gods, so it isn’t meant as prejudice against Jews or Christians but as a protection against spiritual vulnerability and manipulation. It reminds Muslims to stand firm and be proud of who they are, having witnessed the narcissistic abuse, gaslighting, and sabotage that shaped past communities:Surah Ghafir (40:30–31): And a believing man of Pharaoh’s family, who hid his faith said: “Would you kill a man because he says: ‘My Lord is Allah’…?” “Like the case of the people of Noah, ‘Ad, Thamud, and those who came after them…” (Muhsin Khan) We live now as people did at the time of revelation — alive, thinking, and choosing. The Qur’an doesn’t seek to deny or defy Christians or Jews, but to help us understand the same deceit that caused Adam and Eve to descend to Earth, so we do not repeat it:Surah Saba (34:31): And those who disbelieve say: “We shall never believe in this Qur’an, nor in that which is before it.” (Muhsin Khan) And:Surah Ibrahim (14:48): On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth and so will be the heavens, and they will appear before Allah, the One, the Irresistible. (Muhsin Khan) The Qur’an confirms that Allah has always been the same God — never misleading, lying, or tricking His creation. The purpose of these verses is to protect us from the unseen corruption Shaytan brings through his auliya among jinn, humans, and that includes Muslims. , so our faith remains pure and our hearts return to Him, guided by truth, integrity, and light.&nbsp;&nbsp; Surah Al-Hajj (22:53): That He (Allah) may make what Shaytan (Satan) throws in (of falsehood) a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease and whose hearts are hardened. And certainly, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrongdoers, etc.) are in opposition far away (from the truth). Ultimately, responsibility in faith means actively seeking and loving the truth, and being honest with ourselves. The Qur’an is given to us as a shield and guide — reminding us that what truly threatens or protects us isn’t only what we see, but the unseen influences that have always been at the heart of belief and disbelief, and which still set us apart today.Allah created His creation to fill Paradise — each soul has a place, a property in Paradise, and the deeds of our lives are what build that home. When we recognize that the way we live — our intentions, whether we’re positive or negative, mature or immature, responsible or careless — and our morals, values, and ethics — all these unseen dimensions of our character — are what ultimately shape our reality, we begin to understand the deeper purpose of the resources and opportunities we’re given in this life.Allah is the First and the Last; He has gifted us the safest framework that keeps our responsibility and reality in balance — because we don’t control the who, what, where, when, or why of our birth or our passing.

Thoughts Are Unseen

Allah (swt) created fire as an active element — one that serves its purpose in the universe with precision. Fire is not just destruction; it gives warmth, energy, and clarity. It is purposeful. So when Allah describes Hell using fire, it’s not arbitrary or cruel — it’s rooted in divine wisdom and justice. Allah is the source of purity, light, and goodness. And everything He creates serves a purpose — even Hell.Shaytan, on the other hand, declared his ultimate arrogance by denying and defying Allah — the very One who created him. He lacked integrity in acknowledging his origin and refused to show accountability when commanded to bow to Adam (AS). His pride was so deep that he couldn’t accept Allah’s wisdom over his own self-perception. In Allah’s infinite wisdom, Hell was created in response to Shaytan’s defiance:“Verily, Allah will admit those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah — Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds into Gardens underneath which rivers flow (in Paradise); whereas those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.” — Surah Muhammad (47:12), Muhsin Khan But look at Allah’s response — He didn’t just erase Shaytan. He could have. But He didn’t, because Allah is not a dictator. If He had canceled Shaytan the moment he disobeyed, the rest of creation would have submitted out of fear, not love. And Allah, in His infinite mercy and justice, wants sincerity — not robotic submission. With the very first Surah that opens the Qur’an and intercedes for us:“Guide us to the Straight Way. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger nor of those who went astray.” — Surah Al-Fatiha (1:6–7), Muhsin Khan …we are already being taught that life consists of choices — a difference in paths, a difference in destinations. That guidance is available from the very beginning.So when people read about Hell and get uncomfortable — when they ask why Allah “sounds” harsh or threatening — they’re missing the bigger picture. Allah warns us about Hell because He doesn’t want us to end up there. The vivid descriptions are not scare tactics — they are signs of His mercy, a wake-up call. Just as we work to live comfortably in this world, He wants us to be just as invested in working for the eternal goodness of the Hereafter.Free will wasn’t given to trick us. It was given because Allah is not a dictator. He gave us the ability to choose, to think, to reflect. And that freedom is what makes worship and obedience meaningful. It’s the diversity we love — that even in our individuality, Allah teaches us how to maintain our similarities. Hell exists because justice exists. And mercy can only be complete when it stands beside justice.And Shaytan made his mission very clear: he promised to lead us astray, to corrupt us, and to drag us with him into Hell. Misery loves company, and negativity spreads quickly — like wildfire — when we let it. But instead of seeing Allah’s warning about Hell as sincere advice meant to protect us, we sometimes take it as an “insult.” That’s exactly Shaytan’s trick: he makes us think it’s better to defend our pride than to admit that Allah, out of His wisdom, would never ask us to follow blindly.&nbsp;The message isn’t hidden. It’s in plain sight, every single day. Allah gave us all the tools, all the signs, and all the truth we need. He describes Hell not because He enjoys punishment — but because He loves us enough to warn us.The question isn’t why Hell exists. The real question is: why do we keep acting like it doesn’t? Surah Sad 38:63–88 38:63 They will say: "Nay, you (misleaders) yourselves were not believers." 38:64 "And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were a transgressing people." 38:65 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment)." 38:66 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 38:67 Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment. 38:68 Certainly, that is how We deal with Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 38:69 Truly, when it was said to them: La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), they puffed themselves up with pride (i.e. denied it). 38:70 And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet?" 38:71 Nay! He (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's religion — Islamic Monotheism and this Qur'an) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion — Islamic Monotheism). 38:72 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38:73 And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world). 38:74 Save the chosen slaves of Allah (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38:75 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise), 38:76 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 38:77 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 38:78 Facing one another on thrones. 38:79 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 38:80 White, delicious to the drinkers. 38:81 Neither will they have Ghoul (any kind of harm) from that, nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 38:82 And besides them will be Qasirat-at-Tarf (chaste females (wives) restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands)), (and) of equal ages. 38:83 This it is what you (the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 38:84 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 38:85 This (is so)! And most surely, for the Taghun (transgressors and disobedient to Allah) will be an evil final return (Fire), 38:86 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 38:87 This (is so)! Then let them taste its heat — a boiling fluid (Hamim) and dirty wound discharges (Ghassaq). 38:88 And other torments of similar kind, all together!

&nbsp; I’d like to share a train of thought that’s alive right now for someone like me—someone proclaiming a message from Allah while also navigating challenges in a family matter. I’m an all-inclusive person, and Allah has entrusted me to convey an all-inclusive message—one that strikes at the heart of reality itself.&nbsp; I am not trying to sell a trip to Mexico, nor am I trying to offend anyone’s lifestyle. It’s not meant to inconvenience anyone, but for anyone truly in tune with reality, this message is strong enough to harken to.Because Allah is real. The guidance is real. And anyone with my unique lifetime of experiences and understanding of how I was able to manifest this connection would know: there’s just no way to ignore the signs Allah kept giving me along the way—no matter how desperate people might think I am. This is an ultimate truth I’m openly sharing after living it, not before. And in fact, Allah Himself set this all up accordingly, but only because I was receptive to the tests He was giving me, even in those years when I didn’t fully realize that everything is a test—and every moment, a result of that.I also grew up with a father who had zero tolerance for BS, didn’t believe in partnership, and owned everything he did. My dad never sugar coated anything in life—he was true to the T in our last name, Taher, meaning “pure.” I learned a lot of reality checks because of his temperament, and even though I was a spunky teen always trying to push back against his rules, the commitment he held to stay true—that his words meant something—always stood strong. He knew that cheap wants and desires should never overpower our basic instincts. His quality of life wasn’t about quantity, and because of his true character, he naturally attracted good outcomes.Through him, I learned a lot about the real needs a man has—and I see now how easily that regard is misunderstood, especially by women who might think I’m being fake or manipulative just because I speak respectfully and can channel a regulated environment that has boundaries with men. They assume it must be flirtation, but it isn’t. It’s about honoring what’s real, what’s true, and what Allah asks of us—because reality itself demands that we do. In the end, I’m just being judged because I was my dad and uncles’ barista when they’d play cards around the table for hours on end. Surah Ar-Rum 43. So set you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) your face towards the straight religion (i.e. Islamic Monotheism, worship none but Allah Alone) before a Day comes, which there is no turning back from Allah (i.e. when Allah orders the sun to rise from the west then the repentance will be of no avail). On that Day mankind shall be divided (i.e. those who obeyed Allah and those who disobeyed Him).44. Whosoever disbelieves, will suffer from his disbelief, and whosoever does righteous good deeds, then such will prepare a good place (Paradise) for themselves (and will be saved by their good deeds from the Hell-fire).45. That He may reward those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, out of His Bounty. Verily, He likes not the disbelievers.46. And among His Signs is this, that He sends the winds as glad tidings, giving you a taste of His Mercy (i.e. rain), and that the ships may sail (thereby) by His Command, and that you may seek of His Bounty, in order that you may be thankful.47. And indeed We did send before you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) Messengers to their own peoples. They came to them with clear proofs, then, We took vengeance on those who committed crimes (disbelieved, denied, rejected, opposed, etc.), and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).48. Allah is He Who sends the winds, so they raise clouds, and spread them along the sky as He wills, and then break them into fragments, until you see rain drops come forth from their midst! And when He makes them fall on whom of His slaves as He wills, lo! they rejoice!49. And verily before that (rain) - just before it was sent down upon them - they were in despair!50. Look then at the effects (results) of Allah's Mercy, - how He revives the earth after its death. Verily! That (Allah) Who revived the earth after its death shall indeed raise the dead (on the Day of Resurrection), and He is Able to do all things.51. And if We send a wind, and they see (their tilth) turn yellow, behold, they then would become ungrateful (disbelievers).52. So verily, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs.53. Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (as Muslims).54. Allah is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful (i.e. Able to do all things).55. And on the Day when the Hour will be established, the Mujrimûn (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) will swear that they stayed not but an hour – thus were they ever deluded (away from the truth).56. And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: “Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not.”57. So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, disbelievers), nor will they be allowed (then) to return to seek (Allah's Pleasure) by repentance.58. And indeed We have set forth for mankind, in this Qur’ân every kind of parable. But if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) bring to them any sign or proof, the disbelievers are sure to say (to the believers): “You follow nothing but falsehood and magic.” <h3>Surah Luqman </h3>1. Alif-Lâm-Mîm.2. These are Verses of the Wise Book (the Qur’ân).3. A guidance and a mercy for the Muhsinûn (good-doers).4. Those who perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât) and give Zakât and they have faith in the Hereafter with certainty.5. Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful.6. And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-fire).7. And when Our Verses (of the Qur’ân) are recited to such a one, he turns away in pride, as if he heard them not — as if there were deafness in his ear. So announce to him a painful torment.8. Verily, those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islâmic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, for them are Gardens of delight (Paradise).9. To abide therein. It is a Promise of Allah in truth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.10. He has created the heavens without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with you; and He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein.11. This is the creation of Allah. So show Me that which those (whom you worship) besides Him have created. Nay, the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) are in plain error.12. And indeed We bestowed upon Luqmân Al-Hikmah (wisdom and religious understanding) saying: "Give thanks to Allah." And whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good of) his own self. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allah is All-Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.13. And (remember) when Luqmân said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed.14. And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years – give thanks to Me and to your parents. Unto Me is the final destination.15. But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.16. "O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. Verily, Allah is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well-Aware (of its place).17. "O my son! Perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), enjoin (on people) Al-Ma’rûf (Islamic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allah, polytheism and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments (ordered by Allah with no exemption).18. "And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allah likes not any arrogant boaster.19. "And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the braying of the asses (donkeys)."20. See you not (O men) that Allah has subjected for you whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and has completed and perfected His Graces upon you, (both) apparent (i.e. Islamic Monotheism, and the lawful pleasures of this world, including health, good looks, etc.) and hidden [i.e. one’s Faith in Allah (of Islamic Monotheism) knowledge, wisdom, guidance for doing righteous deeds, and also the pleasures and delights of the Hereafter in Paradise]? Yet of mankind is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or a Book giving light!21. And when it is said to them: "Follow that which Allah has sent down," they say: "Nay, we shall follow that which we found our fathers (following)." (Would they do that!) even though Shaitân (Satan) invites them to the torment of the Fire.22. And whosoever submits his face (himself) to Allah [i.e. follows Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism] and he is a Muhsin (good-doer), then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold [Lâ ilâha illallâh (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. And to Allah return all matters for decision.23. And whoever disbelieves, let not his disbelief grieve you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). To Us is their return, and We shall inform them what they have done. Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).24. We let them enjoy for a little while, then in the end We shall oblige them to (enter) a severe torment.25. And if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) ask them: "Who has created the heavens and the earth," they will certainly say: "Allah." Say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah!" But most of them know not.26. To Allah belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. Verily, Allah, He is Al-Ghani (Rich, Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.27. And if all the trees on the earth were pens and the sea (were ink), with seven seas behind it to add to its (supply), yet the Words of Allah would not be exhausted. Verily, Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise.28. The creation of you all and the resurrection of you all are only as (the creation and resurrection of) a single person. Verily, Allah is All-Hearer, All-Seer.29. See you not (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) that Allah merges the night into the day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added to the hours of the day), and merges the day into the night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added to the hours of the night), and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for an appointed term; and that Allah is All-Aware of what you do.30. That is because Allah, He is the Truth, and that which they invoke besides Him is Al-Bâtil (falsehood, Satan and all other false deities), and that Allah, He is the Most High, the Most Great.31. See you not that the ships sail through the sea by Allah's Grace? that He may show you of His Signs? Verily, in this are signs for every patient, grateful (person).32. And when a wave covers them like shades (i.e. like clouds or the mountains of sea-water), they invoke Allah, making their invocations for Him only (i.e. sincerely and truly in their hearts) but when He brings them safely to land, there are among them those that stop in between (believing and disbelieving). But none denies Our Signs except every perfidious ingrate.33. O mankind! Be afraid of your Lord (by keeping your duty to Him and avoiding all evil), and fear a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allah.34. Verily Allah, with Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of all things). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
