Parenting is the collaboration of both motherhood and fatherhood — a natural cycle of life that brings forth the challenges that set us apart. Both roles aren’t just held accountable for the words they speak — for the active, verbal guidance they give to teach, protect, and provide — but also for how they stand as a living demonstration of that integrity they talk about.Children don’t just hear guidance; they see it. It’s in both the guidance and the expression of that guidance where children’s inherent intelligence perceives real security. Safety, after all, is the biggest topic in life. Everything we do — and don’t do — is shaped by the precautions and warnings we’ve been made aware of.It’s not just the diversity of culture that sets us apart, but the culture built inside our homes — the everyday ways we show what we value and why. Growing up with retired parents gave me a dynamic lens: when I was younger, I was fierce, spunky, and passionate; then, my teenage years brought inner struggles — fear of getting in trouble, misunderstandings, and the stress of internalizing feelings. Yet those same struggles pushed me to develop integrity, to stand up against what I felt wasn’t healthy.I witnessed how easily culture and religion could get tangled, and how parents — even with the best intentions — could sometimes be in the dark about their children’s real fears and mistakes. In my own parenting, especially during a long phase of divorce cases, I believed Allah was helping us all find a safe understanding of what it meant for my children’s parents to step down from marriage. I would hold little huddles to explain where we were and why — sometimes they’d lose patience and shut me out. At the time, I didn’t realize how little I truly knew. Looking back, I see now that Allah was giving them direct guidance, allowing them to fear Him more deeply than anything I could say aloud.They saw the proof for themselves. But as with all children, their vulnerability was like a ball bouncing down the stairs — they couldn’t wait for the pressure to be released. And that tension pushed against the very idea of parents working together. I remember we used to play monkey in the middle with the kids, and metaphorically, it became a game where they instinctively tried to get the ball from “the opponent.” Yet I raised them to always respect their opponent, to see that respect as part of faith itself. In our family huddles, I reminded them that Allah’s guidance in such unusual circumstances was going to be hard — but it was there for a reason.I’ll never forget the first day I was alone with my eldest daughter — my firstborn. I remember feeling an overwhelming sense of responsibility, a deep fear that awakened that fierce, protective “mama bear” in me. But even then, my intention was never to raise my children just for myself. My “curriculum” as a parent was to prepare them for the wild world, to help them survive and thrive outside my arms. Because of my own dynamic upbringing, I felt responsible for passing on only what truly mattered: the living culture of who we are and how we do things at home.So I raised them for themselves. I would sit next to them during time-outs, sharing my own childhood mistakes so they knew falling short didn’t mean falling apart. At bedtime, I’d read the protective verses of the Quran over them, never neglecting that. I tried to give them the best of both worlds — letting them “play” with the very things I didn’t want them to, because curiosity is powerful. They needed to learn why, so they could hold back from real dangers later in life not because someone screamed “Don’t do it!” but because they understood the cost themselves.Even in moments when they fell or got hurt, I controlled my reaction, so they wouldn’t fear falling itself. Things happen — and fear can kill ambition faster than failure ever could.So judge me if you must about my circumstances today. I know my babies, and they know me. And if somehow they don’t, then I trust Allah is defending me in ways I can’t see. Even those closest to me, whose betrayal shattered sisterhood, tried to diminish my parenting along the way. People judged me for everything: staying away from artificial dyes, using peanut oil instead of canola, choosing museums over malls, and setting fruit-and-nut platters instead of chips.But those choices weren’t about being different for the sake of it — they were a reflection of the home culture I grew up in. I was the youngest when my parents retired; my father, with his distinct palate, wouldn’t allow shortcuts in food — and that attention to detail reflected his quiet leadership. Having my parents retire during my tween years was a blessing: I got to know their healed versions and learn from my grandmother, whose greatest love language was tenderness and care.In many ways, my children remind me of dandelions: resilient by design, able to take root and grow even in places that don’t seem meant for them. Parenting, as I’ve come to see it, isn’t about creating perfect soil or controlling every gust of wind. It’s about teaching them how to hold on when life feels uncertain and how to let go when it’s time to move forward.Just like dandelions don’t rely on rich, sheltered soil to bloom, I didn’t want to raise my kids only for the sheltered spaces. I wanted them to recognize both the softness and the rough edges of life, to understand where boundaries come from, and to carry that quiet inner strength that holds even when everything around them shifts.Because real security doesn’t come from wrapping them in layers of protection. It comes from helping them see what matters, guiding them to live it, and letting them learn to bend with the wind without breaking who they are. Surah Al-Hujurat quietly sets up a framework for parenting because it encourages patience to wait and get all the answers, respect while waiting, and good behavior even if things don’t turn out the way we expect. It teaches us to think deeper about the sources we rely on, to make sure they don’t have ulterior motives, and reminds us that belief is something individually personal and ultimately proven to the ones who stay obedient above all.The concept of “fighting” in the name of Islam is really like the idea of the “get along shirt”—but because the word “fight” triggers our fear response, we think of aggression first. Allah clarifies that fighting here means to think deeper, to repel evil with good, and to find an active, fair solution that’s permissible. He reaffirms that our responsibility as Muslims is to uphold the Muslim “hood”: to take care of each other, not divide and conquer for status or fame.He then points out this challenge usually comes from those who gossip, shame, and waste time in idle talk—fueling suspicion and corruption, and imagining they own the people they talk about. Allah reminds us that the most honored among us are those who have taqwa, and that saying “we believe” is not the same as actually believing. True faith is proven through striving to follow Allah’s guidance and the Prophet’s sunnah. And He reassures us we shouldn’t try to measure our faith like we weigh ourselves on a scale; real belief should flow naturally, without reaching for an “extent” that makes us feel inferior. In the end, the deen truly is a strive—and only Allah knows the unseen battles and what kind of work the angels must do to guard us from what tries to corrupt our hearts.Surah Al-Hujurat In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulO you who believe! Make not (a decision) in advance before Allah and His Messenger, and fear Allah. Verily! Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. O you who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet (peace be upon him), nor speak aloud to him in talk as you speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds should be rendered fruitless while you perceive not. Verily! Those who lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him), they are the ones whose hearts Allah has tested for piety. For them is forgiveness and a great reward. Verily! Those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense. And if they had patience till you could come out to them, it would have been better for them. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. O you who believe! If a Fasiq (liar — evil person) comes to you with any news, verify it, lest you should harm people in ignorance and afterwards you become regretful for what you have done. And know that among you there is the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). If he were to obey you (i.e., follow your opinions and desires) in much of the matter, you would surely be in trouble. But Allah has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience (to Allah and His Messenger) hateful to you. Such are they who are the rightly guided. (This is) a Grace from Allah and His Favour. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. And if two parties or groups among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both. But if one of them rebels against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which rebels till it complies with the Command of Allah; then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily! Allah loves those who are the equitable. The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islamic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allah, that you may receive mercy. O you who believe! Let not a group scoff at another group, it may be that the latter are better than the former; nor let (some) women scoff at other women, it may be that the latter are better than the former. Nor defame one another, nor insult one another by nicknames. How bad is it to insult one’s brother after having Faith [i.e., to call your Muslim brother (a faithful believer) as: “O sinner,” or “O wicked,” etc.]. And whosoever does not repent, then such are indeed Zalimun (wrong-doers, etc.). O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One Who accepts repentance, Most Merciful. O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honourable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e., he is one of the Muttaqun (the pious)]. Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. The bedouins say: “We believe.” Say: “You believe not but you only say, ‘We have surrendered (in Islam),’ for Faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), He will not decrease anything in reward for your deeds. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him), and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allah. Those! They are the truthful. Say: “Will you inform Allah about your religion? While Allah knows all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.” They regard as favour upon you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) that they have embraced Islam. Say: “Count not your Islam as a favour upon me. Nay, but Allah has conferred a favour upon you, that He has guided you to the Faith if you indeed are true.” Verily, Allah knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.

Lions Are Dandy, Not Bitter

Connection in prayer isn’t an overnight accomplishment. It’s something that takes time—because being truly genuine before Allah requires us to first learn how to be genuine with ourselves. Even when our intention is to pray sincerely for the sake of Allah, deep down we often begin by critically judging ourselves: our flaws, our distractions, our shortcomings. And it’s exactly these vulnerabilities, wants, and needs that we end up bringing with us to the prayer mat.It’s natural to want immediate spiritual clarity or a deep sense of closeness with Allah, but feeling and understanding that spiritual reciprocation is rarely instant. It takes reflection, time, and effort to untangle ourselves from the worldly distractions that dull our hearts. Many people struggle with faith for this reason: not because the faith itself is weak, but because the world around us (and within us) makes it hard to see what holds us back.Allah, in His wisdom, tells us: “It could be that you like a thing and it is bad for you, and it could be that you dislike a thing and it is good for you; and Allah knows, while you do not know.” This is a reminder that part of spiritual growth is learning to trust His knowledge over our limited perspective. Sometimes, what we think will make us feel closer to Allah isn’t what truly does; and sometimes, what feels difficult or inconvenient is actually what nurtures our souls.Another subtle barrier to deep connection in prayer is how we perceive time. We often approach prayer with a mindset of “getting it done,” as if completing the steps themselves is enough. Our minds rush ahead to the next task or responsibility, missing that Allah’s view of time is not like ours. He asks us to pray as though it could be our last prayer, to truly be in that moment—to say insha’Allah for the next prayer, recognizing that each prayer could be our final conversation with Him in this life.It’s easy to fall into thinking that the physical effort or mental discipline we bring to prayer is the ultimate goal. But Allah calls us to something deeper: to use the time we have wisely, to channel the parts of us that are genuinely yearning for His guidance, even when those parts feel small or hidden under layers of distraction and doubt.When we pray, we’re invited to give something real: a promise of consistency. And this consistency isn’t measured by quantity alone, but by sincerity. If you are consistent—even with a small amount—and you give it genuinely, then you have succeeded in the first steps of truly knowing yourself.Ultimately, the barakah (blessing) we hope for in life is in Allah’s hands. He doesn’t inspire you to want something unless He, in His mercy, wants to give it to you. But just as we work for what we want in this life, He asks us to work for the hereafter too—to balance striving for worldly success with striving for spiritual growth.This delicate balance, this honest effort to challenge how we conduct our Salah, is what strengthens us. Over time, it shapes us into people who don’t just pray out of routine, but who truly stand before Allah—vulnerable, hopeful, and sincere—because we’ve learned to bring our whole selves to Him. That’s what prayer does: it prepares us to truly stand before Allah one day.And with that, I will share that Allah has revealed to me that He is going to cause me to die, and He will also bring me back to life. As a way to renew my circadian rhythm to the beat of His guidance. "Say (O Muhammad ﷺ to those who worship others besides Allah): "Do you worship besides Allah something which has no power either to harm or benefit you? But it is Allah Who is the All-Hearer, All-Knower." 5:76Say: "Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us. He is our Maula (Lord, Helper and Protector)." And in Allah let the believers put their trust. 9:51 "Verily, your Lord knows that you do stand (to pray at night) a little less than two-thirds of the night, or half the night, or a third of the night, and so does a party of those with you; and Allah measures the night and the day. He knows that you are unable to pray the whole night, so He has turned to you (in mercy). So recite you of the Qur’an as much as may be easy for you. He knows that there will be some among you sick, others travelling through the land, seeking of Allah’s bounty; yet others fighting in Allah’s Cause. So recite as much of the Qur’an as may be easy (for you); and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) and give Zakat and lend to Allah a goodly loan. And whatever good you send before you for yourselves, you will certainly find it with Allah, better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." 73:20 Fussilat: 41:30Verily, those who say: "Our Lord is Allah (Alone)," and then they stand firm, on them the angels will descend (at the time of their death) (saying): "Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised!" 41:31"We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask." 41:32"An entertainment from (Allah), the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." 41:33And who is better in speech than he who [says: "My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness)," and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims." 41:34The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e., Allah ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. 41:35But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient — and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion (of happiness in the Hereafter i.e., Paradise and in this world of a high moral character). 41:36And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaitan (Satan), then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, All-Knower. 41:37And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him. 41:38But if they are too proud [to prostrate], then those who are with your Lord (i.e., the angels) glorify Him night and day, and never are they tired. 41:39And among His Signs (is this): that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth (of vegetation). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, (He) is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things. 41:40Verily, those who turn away from Our Ayat (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) are not hidden from Us. Is he who is cast into the Fire better, or he who comes securely on the Day of Resurrection? Do what you will. Verily, He is All-Seer of what you do. 41:41Verily, those who disbelieved in the Reminder (i.e., the Qur’an) when it came to them (shall receive the punishment). And verily, it is an honourable respected Book. 41:42Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it: (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah). 41:43Nothing is said to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) except what was said to the Messengers before you. Verily, your Lord is the Possessor of forgiveness, and (also) the Possessor of painful punishment.

In this personal family story, rooted in conveying Allah’s message and witnessing His infinite wisdom, has also opened the door to discussing a topic that is often kept locked behind stigma: sex. It’s a topic society only seems to bring up when there’s someone to blame, an active scandal to dissect, or gossip that keeps the taboo alive—reinforcing shame and suppression. Yet in reality, Allah has made this private act one of the most natural and sacred parts of life. It is the worldly source of life itself, where He joins male and female not only to procreate, but to learn love, compassion, and understanding at the deepest level. Allah describes this bond in the Quran as a source of comfort and peace, using the word “tranquility.” It isn’t just about the intimate act itself, but about preserving intimacy with respect and love—keeping the bond alive and sacred.While we all know there’s more to marriage and relationships than physical intimacy, sex remains at the center of the marital bond because it nurtures that sacred core of love. Yet as society has evolved, this core has been neglected, its sacredness forgotten by many. This decline is a shared result of choices made by both men and women over time.The challenges are clear: men face the constant test of a higher sex drive, while women navigate the complexity of their emotional nature. Mixed with daily stress, ego, and the need to be “right” on both sides, this becomes a recipe for conflict, disconnection, and eventually, betrayal of the very purpose of marriage—to love, protect, and please each other sincerely.Fast forward to today, and parts of society have lost patience, slipping into autopilot when it comes to love. But Allah tells us He created Adam and, from him, Eve—from his rib. This isn’t a statement of inferiority, but a profound lesson: that women are created to be dependently strong, relying on the curved rib’s form. The curve itself reflects that women are independently dependent—a balance that men must understand as a trust from Allah to care for and honor women.Some might dismiss this as outdated, but Muslims believe men are entrusted to lead the home, to anchor the family, regardless of whether both spouses work. When men fail in this duty—whether by giving in to desire or neglecting spiritual responsibility—they risk “breaking the rib,” damaging what they were meant to protect.&nbsp;At the same time, women’s impatience isn’t always visible through words, but through actions: gossip, a desire for validation, materialism, impulsive decisions, or manipulating their husbands in unnecessary ways. These behaviors chip away at trust, making vulnerable men withdraw or even betray their vows—often to escape what feels like constant testing. But deceit and betrayal aren’t new—they’ve existed for as long as humans have struggled with desire and ego. The real danger lies in normalizing these betrayals under the assumption that as long as no one knows, there’s no harm. Yet for those who are God-conscious, the reality is different.It’s important for women to truly honor the concept and responsibility of being the curved rib—a creation that is strong yet naturally curved, balanced between dependence and independence. This balance isn’t a weakness; it is a unique design Allah has given us to protect, nurture, and strengthen the family bond.In this, we should be careful not to let our vulnerability or emotions become tools to wield control over our husbands. While women feel deeply and instinctively read between the lines, this gift shouldn’t be used to burden or test men unnecessarily. Instead, it sometimes means stepping up to help carry the load—even if that load seems “masculine” or beyond what we might normally do. Trust that when it is done sincerely, your husband will not leave you hanging; rather, he will feel supported, respected, and loved.It is also vital for women to honor their children by never letting personal issues with their father spill over into how they act around their children—or worse, turning the children against their father. Doing so plants seeds of disrespect and dishonor that can shape how the children perceive love, trust, and family. Children deserve to see the best of both parents, even in times of conflict, so they can grow up grounded in respect rather than shaped by resentment.Leaving behind the realm of gossip is another crucial step. Gossip often appears harmless, but it subtly poisons the heart and keeps us busy judging others rather than reflecting inward. By stepping away from it, we open our hearts to Allah’s added light of understanding, bringing barakeh (blessing) into our marriages, daily lives, and connections.When our souls are constantly charged with judgment over other people’s lives, we pay for it in ways we might not see—through reflections of Allah’s wisdom in our tests and the outcomes of our choices, tied to the knowledge we carry and especially the knowledge we choose to ignore. Recognizing this helps us live with greater sincerity and humility, staying mindful of our sacred roles: to protect what Allah entrusted us with, to honor His design, and to nurture love that is sincere, peaceful, and free of hidden debts. 38:34And, indeed We did try Sulaiman (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasad (a body), and he did return (to Us in repentance). 38:35He said: "My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me. Verily, You are the Bestower." 38:36So, We subjected to him the wind; it blew gently by his order whithersoever he willed, 38:37And also the Shayatin (devils) from the jinn (including) every kind of builder and diver, 38:38And also others bound in fetters. 38:39[Saying]: "This is Our gift, so spend you or withhold, no account will be asked of you." 38:40And verily, he enjoyed a near access to Us, and a good final return (Paradise). Surah At-Tahrim In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful1. O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.2. Allah has already ordained for you (O men) the absolution from your oaths. And Allah is your Maula (Lord, or Master) and He is the All-Knower, the All-Wise.3. And (remember) when the Prophet (ﷺ) disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his wives, then she told it (to another woman), and Allah made it known to him; he informed part thereof and left a part. Then when he told her (Hafsa) thereof, she said: "Who told you this?" He said: "The All-Knower, the All-Aware (Allah) has told me."4. If you two (wives of the Prophet ﷺ, namely ‘Aishah and Hafsa) turn in repentance to Allah, (it will be better for you), your hearts are indeed so inclined (to oppose what the Prophet ﷺ likes); but if you help one another against him (Muhammad ﷺ), then verily, Allah is his Maula (Lord, or Protector), and Jibreel (Gabriel), and the righteous among the believers; and furthermore, the angels are his helpers.5. It may be if he divorced you (all) that his Lord will give him instead of you, wives better than you - Muslims (who submit to Allah), believers, obedient (to Allah), turning to Allah in repentance, worshipping Allah sincerely, fasting or emigrants (for Allah's sake), previously married and virgins.6. O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.7. (It will be said in the Hereafter): "O you who disbelieve! Make no excuses this Day! You are being requited only for what you used to do."8. O you who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will expiate from you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, on the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet (Muhammad ﷺ) and those who believe with him. Their light will run forward before them and (with their Records — Books of deeds) in their right hands they will say: "Our Lord! Keep perfect our light for us and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things."9. O Prophet (Muhammad ﷺ)! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them; their abode is Hell, and worst indeed is that destination.10. Allah sets forth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Nuh (Noah) and the wife of Lut (Lot). They were under two of Our righteous slaves, but they both betrayed them (by rejecting their husbands' teachings); so they [Nuh (Noah) and Lut (Lot)] availed them (their respective wives) not against Allah and it was said: "Enter the Fire along with those who enter!"11. And Allah has set forth an example for those who believe: the wife of Fir‘aun (Pharaoh), when she said: "My Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise, and save me from Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) and his work, and save me from the people who are Zalimun (polytheists, wrongdoers and disbelievers in Allah)."12. And Maryam (Mary), the daughter of 'Imran who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Ruh [i.e., Jibreel (Gabriel)], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord, and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qanitin (i.e., obedient to Allah).

Beholder and Holder

To all who have a close eye on my life, judging me, holding me in the legal bind of captivity, depriving me and my ex-husband from co-parenting the way Allah asks us to uphold:Your interference, fueled by your own life differences, keeps projecting judgment for something you’re all going to be proven wrong for. You made ill statements and passed judgment on me for following Allah’s guidance—the same guidance that once let me give close care in your lives before all this came about. You’ve chosen to depict your own fears as a way to perpetrate me, to make me into an enemy, so my children stay fearful of your impatient reactions instead of trusting the inherent understanding Allah placed in their hearts about their lives, their mother, and their father.You expect God to consider your lives kindly, yet act like you own my soul—burning me with the little time and energy you give to actually mind your own business. Deep down, you’re all contributing because you truly think I’m lying about Allah’s guidance: that I’m a woman trying to claim being a messenger, seeking fame by saying I’m the reincarnation of Fatima Zahra, or trying to seduce men when, in truth, they only show me respect instead of unnecessary flirting. The list of what you enjoy telling yourselves goes on—and it’ll keep going as long as you think I’m the main show.The reality is: Allah is the main show you’re all missing. And so, after over two years in your limelight, I highly suggest you go back in time, remember life as it was before the fabric I chose to wear became your personal obsession—and remember that my divorce is personal, and still is, no matter what you’ve been told.Allah has also revealed that a personal video of me has been exploited—by His will, I suppose, to show the leverage people want to keep over me. Yet this same video has, by Allah’s design, opened the hearts of men of understanding to see Allah in a new light through this family trial, and to see a similar concept regarding Garcia too. The claim that he and I ever had personal contact, that I violated my marriage, is exaggerated—because Allah Himself placed a form of true connection between our hearts but from afar. And while my dreams have drastically decreased to about 10% in the last two years (so Allah channels guidance into intuition rather than dreams as proof), Allah has revealed that He has me visit Ryan’s dreams to keep that connection from afar and to help him understand the wisdom behind this distance. I myself have never had dreams where I speak with him—only visions from Allah showing me what I need to know.And to conclude: anyone who truly wants to take this message seriously already knows exactly what they need to do—because that’s the real concept of faith: wanting to be fair, wanting to be true. This is what Allah is encouraging: a protocol for you to practice, to prepare yourself for the ultimate need everyone keeps asking about in this matter—His Proof. You indeed utter an awful saying. 17:41 And surely, We have explained (Our warnings) in this Qur'an (to the people), in various ways, that they might remember (or receive admonition), but it increases them in naught save aversion. 17:42 Say (O Muhammad ﷺ to these polytheists, pagans, etc.): "If there had been other gods along with Him, as they assert, then they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne (Allah)." 17:43 Glorified and High is He! From ‘Uluwan Kabira’ (Great is His Highness)! Far is He above what they say! 17:44 The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him, and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving. 17:45 And when you (Muhammad ﷺ) recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who believe not in the Hereafter, an invisible veil (or screen their hearts, so they hear or understand it not). 11:50 And to ‘Ad (people We sent) their brother Hud. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other god but Him. Certainly, you do nothing but invent (lies).” 11:51 "O my people! I ask of you no reward for it (the Message); my reward is only from Him Who created me. Will you not then understand?" 11:52 "And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him, He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain, and add strength to your strength, so do not turn away as Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah)." 11:53 They said: "O Hud! You have not brought us any clear proof, and we are not going to leave our gods on your (mere) saying! And we are not believers in you." 11:54 "All that we say is that some of our gods have seized you with evil (madness)." He said: "I call Allah to witness and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe as partners in worship.” 11:55 "(With Him). So plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite." 11:56 "I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but He has grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on a Straight Path (the truth)." 11:57 "So if you turn away, still I have conveyed the Message with which I was sent to you. My Lord will make another people succeed you, and you will not harm Him at all. Verily, my Lord is Guardian over all things." 11:58 And when Our Commandment came, We saved Hud and those who believed with him by a Mercy from Us, and We saved them from a severe torment.

Fair Rights: Wanting to Be True

There are so many easy ways Allah ﷻ makes belief attainable for us. It’s not a blind walk of delusion or a dreamy case of wishful hope. Rather, belief becomes a natural attraction to the truth — something the soul instinctively invites when our integrity remains intact and unshaken. If integrity is ever compromised for personal gain, then it was never truly integrity to begin with, but only a temporary performance.Believing in Allah and His unseen reality means living life with a dual awareness: doing the right thing when nobody is watching, and doing the right thing because Allah is always watching. This isn’t an empty ritual; it’s a deeply rooted commitment to align what we know, what we feel, and what we do — even when it’s inconvenient.As Muslims, we’re sometimes asked by non-Muslims why faith seems to demand so much “work.” Often, this question springs from a need to justify seeking a way out — a human tendency shaped by society’s preference for shortcuts. But life itself doesn’t pause; its fleeting nature doesn’t change. Reality only “bites” if we refuse to see it for what it is.At our core, we’re all built the same — all born into vulnerability, needing milk to survive. Allah could have made us independent from birth, but instead, He made us needful of love, care, and connection. In that design, He taught humanity about providing, about compassion, and about shared responsibility — a framework meant for every soul. The difference among us isn’t in that divine design, but in how each of us deals with it within the story of our own lives.If we begin to compare how much milk we had or which family gave more, then we miss the deeper purpose: to learn and build, not to divide and conquer. Integrity practiced sincerely draws the truth closer, to the extent we are ready and able to hold it. Allah ﷻ never burdens us beyond our capacity — just as He does not expect an integrity that would shatter our faith under pressure.So why does the path sometimes feel hard? Because faith calls us to look critically within ourselves. At its heart, Allah’s guidance is a living invitation to correct our faults — gently, honestly, and persistently. We’re asked to make excuses for the mistakes of others, yet hold ourselves to a higher standard: not to be harsh or self-punishing, but to be patient with our own missteps without letting them become excuses.In reality, this isn’t about being “hard” on ourselves. It’s about protecting the sacred trust of integrity so we don’t trade it away for a quick fix, an easy lie, or a fleeting comfort. Allah created us to learn from one another, and within that divine framework, to keep polishing our hearts and actions — until doing the right thing feels as natural as breathing, whether anyone sees it or not. 50:16 And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 50:17 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his actions). 50:18 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it).51:20 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty. 51:21 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 51:22 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 51:23 Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth, just as it is the truth that you can speak. 67:12 Verily! Those who fear their Lord unseen, theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). 67:13 And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men). 67:14 Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves), All-Aware (of everything). 67:15 He it is Who has made the earth subservient to you, so walk in the paths thereof and eat of His provision. And to Him will be the Resurrection. 67:16 Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not cause the earth to sink with you, and then it should quake? 67:17 Or do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allah), will not send against you a violent whirlwind? Then you shall know how (terrible) has been My Warning? 67:18 And indeed those before them belied (the Messengers), then how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 67:19 Do they not see the birds above them, spreading out their wings and folding them in? None upholds them except the Most Beneficent (Allah). Verily, He is the All-Seer of everything. 67:20 Who is he besides the Most Beneficent (Allah) that can be an army to you to help you? The disbelievers are in nothing but delusion. 67:21 Who is he that can provide for you if He should withhold His provision? Nay, but they continue to be in pride (and) fleeing (from the truth). 67:22 Is he who walks prone (without seeing) on his face, more rightly guided, or he who (sees and) walks upright on a Straight Way (Islamic Monotheism)? 67:23 Say it is He Who has created you and endowed you with hearing and seeing, and hearts. Little thanks you give. 67:24 Say: It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter). 33:24 That Allah may reward the men of truth for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He will, or accept their repentance by turning to them (in Mercy). Verily, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 33:25 And Allah drove back those who disbelieved in their rage; they gained no advantage (booty). Allah sufficed for the believers in the fighting. And Allah is Ever All-Strong, All-Mighty. &nbsp; 33:36 It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a plain error. &nbsp; 33:43 He it is Who sends Salat (His blessings) on you, and His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive you), that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And He is Ever Most Merciful to the believers. &nbsp; 33:47 And announce to the believers (in Islamic Monotheism) the glad tidings, that they will have from Allah a Great Bounty. 33:48 And obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and harm them not (until you are ordered), and put your trust in Allah. And Sufficient is Allah as a Wakil (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs). &nbsp; 33:56 Allah sends His Salat (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy, etc.) on the Prophet (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) and also His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salat on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As-Salamu ‘Alaikum). 33:57 Verily, those who annoy Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Allah has cursed them in this world, and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating torment. 33:58 And those who annoy believing men and women undeservedly, bear on themselves the crime of slander and plain sin. 33:59 O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies. That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Tawhid — the oneness of Allah — is often taught as a simple creed: there is no God but Allah. Yet, as faith deepens, its meaning unfolds in many layers that speak not just to belief, but to perception, intention, and the way we navigate existence itself.In my own journey, I did not realize at first that what I called intuition — that inner pull toward honesty, fairness, and patience — was, in reality, Allah’s guidance. It was the whisper of fitrah: the natural inclination Allah placed in every soul. It always served my rights, because it served the truth Allah made me capable of perceiving. But living in a time when so much of life feels on display and subject to quick judgment, it becomes naturally evideint how the display of this guidance is being perceived to an audience.&nbsp; Society, as it stands, is built to keep speculation alive. Constant debate, suspicion, and the delight in contradiction serve as entertainment; they keep the collective ego occupied. Agreement — which often emerges from sincerity and truth — is discouraged because it threatens to end the game. Once truth is recognized, people are no longer bound together by the thrill of speculation; they find independence, and the crowd loses its purpose. In this way, the huddle of society remains intact, driven by what is unsaid and unresolved.Yet, behind every loud claim and stubborn disagreement is something more fragile: the neglected child within each person, craving the security that comes from being right — because they once felt unseen or unheard. The insistence on being right becomes a shield, a borrowed sense of worth, an illusion of control. And in that insistence, the ego finds its false rights: rights that serve the self, rather than truth.We live in a time where many of us become obsessed with having our faults accepted or even celebrated — rather than acknowledged and corrected. To keep that comfort, we sometimes resort to small lies, or even big ones, just to “kick it,” to stay part of the circle that reassures us. Instead of striving to align ourselves with truth, we use the collective bind of society as a cop-out, as if the agreement of others could make what is wrong somehow right.In this way, ignorance becomes a refuge: blissful because it spares us the pain of confronting our own contradictions. But Allah doesn’t want us to insult our own intelligence by ignoring what we inherently know in our hearts. We’ve been given fitrah, reason, revelation, and conscience — all the tools we need to recognize truth from falsehood. And even though life comes with free will, it also comes with a kind of “easy safety mode”: the guidance that keeps us from stepping beyond our limits.True tawhid calls us beyond the need to perform for others or to have our faults accepted just to soothe the ego. It reminds us that ultimate authority and truth belong only to Allah, and that our intuition — when it truly serves justice, mercy, and sincerity — is part of His guidance. In the many layers of tawhid, we learn to let go of the illusion that our worth comes from speculation, control, or public validation, and instead return to the quiet certainty that Allah alone is sufficient.This understanding also teaches us not to step beyond our capacity or overestimate our knowledge, deceiving ourselves into thinking we know all there is to know. Real growth isn’t about forcing others to embrace our shortcomings, but about turning inward — acknowledging our faults before Allah, and striving to do better for His sake, even if no one else sees. And above all, read with the intention to connect, not to conquer.٨٥ يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَفْدًا 85. The Day We shall gather the righteous to the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegation (presented before a king).٨٦ وَنَسُوقُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرْدًا 86. And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water.٨٧ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَهْدًا 87. None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah).٨٨ وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَلَدًا 88. And they say: The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or children).٨٩ لَقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْـًٔا إِدًّا 89. Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.٩٠ تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدًّا 90. Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,٩١ أَن دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ وَلَدًا 91. That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah).٩٢ وَمَا يَنبَغِى لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا 92. But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).٩٣ إِن كُلُّ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِى ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ عَبْدًا 93. There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave.٩٤ لَّقَدْ أَحْصَىٰهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا 94. Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting.٩٥ وَكُلُّهُمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فَرْدًا 95. And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender).٩٦ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ وُدًّا 96. Verily, those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).٩٧ فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَـٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا 97. So We have made this (the Qur’an) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), only that you may give glad tidings to the pious and righteous (Al‑Muttaqun), and warn with it the most quarrelsome people.٩٨ وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا 98. And how many a generation before them have We destroyed? Can you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them?
